LANEIGE WATER BANK GEL CREAM

gel cream

Summer is over and it’s time to bring out the thick sweaters and heavy jackets. When it comes to skin care and the ever so changing seasons, it’s also important to switch up your daily skin care regimen to something more heavy or thicker in cream or gel base for the cold weather approaching.

I was previously using the Dermalogica Skin Soothing Hydrating Lotion but it was a little too light weight and so I thought I would give Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream a try and so far I have been using it for two weeks now and although, it is for normal to combination skin, I would recommend this to people of all skin types who are in mist of a cold season like winter. As a result, I haven’t broken out, which is a good sign! For those of you that are new, my skin is oily to combination and I have struggled with acne during my teens.

What I love about this gel cream is that it is thick, and gives a liquid cool gel feel that is enough to dab a small amount onto your face and neck and yet provide 24-hour full hydration, it includes six hydrating minerals that replenish and lock in moisture, while the other ingredients help to soothe irritated skin. Not to mention, it is fast absorbent and if you’re like me, who wake up really late and just need something moisturizing and dries quickly, so that you can get out of the house with an awaken, smooth, dry face in minutes, this gel cream does the trick!

I simply pat the gel cream onto my skin and seconds later, you won’t even feel like you’re wearing anything and it is shine and oily free. I can wear it alone or under my makeup and it doesn’t make my face feel oily throughout the day, which is a plus! I use this morning and night and it is perfect if you’re looking for a full hydration, so your skin can leave or wake up comfortably cool, appearing soft to the touch, shine free and moisturized.
